FTC

FTC stands for First Tech Challenge, and is the largest subgroup of BACON. Consisting of teams 7080 and 20342, FTC regularly competes in competitions at the regional and state level by building precise and complex robots to perform various tasks quicker than the opposing team. FTC’s robots are made from scratch using many differnt materials and utilizing various methods of fabriication from 3d printing to water-jetting to laser-cutting. The FTC season spans from early september to early spring.
